Who we are
The lulaforpeace.com.br website is run by the Lula for Peace Committee, an independent civil society initiative with no official ties to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the Lula Institute, the Presidency of the Republic or any political party. For any matter related to this policy, write to [email protected].
What data we collect
The website does not require registration. We only collect the data you choose to send us through the “Join the debate” form or by email: name, email address, country, subject and message, as well as any files or links you attach.
The website does not use its own advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use the data
Data is used solely to read and reply to your message and, where applicable, to consider publishing articles, news or suggestions you send. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the consent box on the form (Article 7, I, of Brazilian Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD).
We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties, and we do not use it to send promotional messages without your permission.
Publishing contributions
Articles and texts you send will only be published with the author's permission and proper attribution. Your email address and other contact details are never published.
Third-party services
To display its typefaces, the website loads files from Google Fonts, which causes your browser to connect to Google's servers and share technical data such as your IP address. When you use the share buttons (WhatsApp, Facebook and LinkedIn), you are taken to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
If the contact form is connected to a message delivery service, that service will act only as a processor, handling the data on behalf of the committee and for the purpose described above.
Storage and security
Messages are kept only as long as needed to reply to them and to keep a record of contributions received. We take reasonable measures to protect data against unauthorized access.
Your rights
Under the LGPD, you may at any time request confirmation of and access to your data, correction of incomplete or outdated data, deletion of your data and withdrawal of your consent. Just write to [email protected].
